Office Services Manager

HybridFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. The posting includes description (about role), responsibilities (list of essential functions), qualifications (education, experience, etc.), maybe skills (some are implied). Benefits are described. Pay and Schedule not mentioned, so omit those sections. Also we should not repeat job title. We need to use

for section headings. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We need to preserve all substantive information, no boilerplate. Remove EEO etc. Also remove navigation/cookie etc. Not present. We need to include sections: About the role (maybe a paragraph summarizing role). Responsibilities (list). Qualifications (list). Skills maybe combine with qualifications? The posting mentions "working knowledge of power tools", "working knowledge of basic office machines", "purchasing and inventory experience", "strong customer service orientation", "ability to remain organized", etc. Those could be Skills. Could create a Skills section. Benefits section: list benefits. We must not include Pay or Schedule. We need to ensure we don't create empty sections. Let's extract content. About the role: The first paragraph: "The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) has a new opportunity for an Office Services Manager in our IT & Offices Services department. This role is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the NAMIC, NAMICO, and NIA workplace environment through facility maintenance, workplace services, inventory management, equipment support, and operational coordination. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining designated tenant spaces, supporting employee and visitor needs, and ensuring building resources, equipment, and supplies are available and functioning properly. To also support shared building operations, safety activities, regulatory compliance requirements, vendor coordination, and business continuity efforts, while serving as a key resource for workplace operations and facility-related support services." We can put that as a

under About the role. Responsibilities: The list of essential functions (many bullet-like sentences). We'll convert each sentence to

  • . Qualifications: "High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 2 years of previous experience in general building maintenance required. Experience with commercial building maintenance is preferred but not required. Must have a working knowledge of power tools. Working knowledge of basic office machines and equipment required. Purchasing and inventory experience preferred. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Ability to walk, push, pull, carry, climb, crawl, stoop, and perform a variety of physical tasks daily (see more under “physical demands”). Strong customer service orientation and pleasant manners; must have a sense of urgency to get things accomplished. Ability to remain organized, including keeping to a daily checklist and following up to ensure responsibilities are completed. Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and must possess an acceptable MVR." Physical demands also part of qualifications? Could be separate but we can include under Qualifications or maybe Skills. But we can keep as part of Qualifications. Skills: Could extract: "working knowledge of power tools", "working knowledge of basic office machines and equipment", "purchasing and inventory experience", "strong customer service orientation", "ability to remain organized", "strong sensory skills such as good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity", "ability to perform focused work with close attention to detail". Might be overlapping with qualifications. But we can still create a Skills section for those that are skill-based. But we must avoid duplication? The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. It's okay to have overlapping content if it's in the posting. However we should not repeat same sentence in multiple sections if it's already covered elsewhere? It might be okay but better to split logically: Qualifications: education, experience, license, background check. Skills: technical skills, customer service, organization, sensory skills, attention to detail. Physical demands could be part of Qualifications or separate but we don't have a section for Physical Demands; we could include under Qualifications as it's a requirement. Benefits: "We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package with this full-time position. Benefits include access to group medical, dental and vision; a matched 401(k) plan; one paid day each year to volunteer with the charity of your choice; generous paid vacation; and more!" We can make a
    • for each benefit. We must not include EEO etc. Now produce HTML. Structure:

      ...

      Qualifications

      • High school diploma or GED required.
      • Minimum 2 years of previous experience in general building maintenance required.
      • Experience with commercial building maintenance is preferred but not required.
      • Must have a working knowledge of power tools.
      • Working knowledge of basic office machines and equipment required.
      • Purchasing and inventory experience preferred.
      • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
      • Ability to walk, push, pull, carry, climb, crawl, stoop, and perform a variety of physical tasks daily.
      • Strong customer service orientation and pleasant manners; must have a sense of urgency to get things accomplished.
      • Ability to remain organized, including keeping to a daily checklist and following up to ensure responsibilities are completed.
      • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and must possess an acceptable MVR.
Maybe we also include physical demands details: "This is a physical job. Must have the ability to move actively throughout the day, both indoors and outdoors in all temperatures, and to occasionally sit. This position requires the ability to climb a ladder to change light bulbs, lift up to 75 lbs., push or pull at least 100 lbs., reach overhead to bring an item off a top shelf, stoop to ground level to pick up an item, to crawl on the floor under desks, and to push snow off the sidewalks, among other physical activities. Strong sensory skills, such as good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity. Ability to perform focused work with close attention to detail." We could put those under Skills or Qualifications. Since they are requirements, maybe under Qualifications as additional bullet items. But we already have many qualifications; we can add them there. Let's add under Qualifications:
    • Ability to move actively throughout the day, both indoors and outdoors in all temperatures, and to occasionally sit.
    • Ability to climb a ladder to change light bulbs, lift up to 75 lbs., push or pull at least 100 lbs., reach overhead to bring an item off a top shelf, stoop to ground level to pick up an item, to crawl on the floor under desks, and to push snow off the sidewalks.
    • Strong sensory skills, such as good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity.
    • Ability to perform focused work with close attention to detail.
    • Now Skills section: maybe we can include "Strong customer service orientation and pleasant manners; must have a sense of urgency to get things accomplished." but that's already in Qualifications. Could move to Skills. But we need to avoid duplication? The instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; duplication is not prohibited but might be redundant. Better to avoid duplication by moving those to Skills and removing from Qualifications. Let's restructure: Qualifications: education, experience, license, background check, physical ability to move, etc. Skills: customer service, organization, sensory skills, attention to detail, knowledge of tools, office machines, purchasing/inventory. But we already have knowledge of tools etc in Qualifications. Might be better to have Qualifications for education/experience/license, Skills for technical and soft skills, and Physical demands maybe under Qualifications or separate but we don't have a section for Physical Demands; we could include under Qualifications as it's a requirement. Let's decide: Qualifications (education/experience/license/background check): - High school diploma or GED required. - Minimum 2 years of previous experience in general building maintenance required. - Experience with commercial building maintenance is preferred but not required. - Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. - Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and must possess an acceptable MVR. Skills (technical/soft/physical): - Must have a working knowledge of power tools. - Working knowledge of basic office machines and equipment required. - Purchasing and inventory experience preferred. - Ability to walk, push, pull, carry, climb, crawl, stoop, and perform a variety of physical tasks daily. - Ability to move actively throughout the day, both indoors and outdoors in all temperatures, and to occasionally sit. - Ability to climb a ladder to change light bulbs, lift up to 75 lbs., push or pull at least 100 lbs., reach overhead to bring an item off a top shelf, stoop to ground level to pick up an item, to crawl on the floor under desks, and to push snow off the sidewalks. - Strong customer service orientation and pleasant manners; must have a sense of urgency to get things accomplished. - Ability to remain organized, including keeping to a daily checklist and following up to ensure responsibilities are completed. - Strong sensory skills, such as good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity. - Ability to perform focused work with close attention to detail.
