Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and check-in/check-out all patients and visitors, handling documentation and ensuring a positive first impression
- Expertly manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirmation, and processing requests for medical record releases
- Carefully manage and verify patient demographic and medical insurance details, including obtaining all required pre-authorizations and authorizations
- Accurately enter and review daily charges for patient services and manage co-payments, deposits, and daily report reconciliations
- Provide essential administrative support to colleagues to keep the office running smoothly
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 or more years of Medical Office experience
- 1 or more years of Medical Insurance, Pre-Authorizations, and Authorizations experience
