Schedule

Full time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, working out of the Marilyn Sands Outpatient Clinic at the Hospital.

Main Function

• Responsible for telephone triage and patient education
• Provides quality patient care under the guidance of the providers
• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care
• Assist the providers with scheduling patient procedures, patient clearance, and pre- and post-procedure education

Job Specific Competencies

• Skill in provision of care to patients of Gastroenterology
• Ability to collect, document, and access data in the electronic medical record
• Telephone triage

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN license required
• Current Infection Control Certificate required
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing required
• Three years of recent nursing experience required
• Physician office nursing experience and triage experience preferred
• Gastroenterology experience preferred

Pay

Pay range: $34.00 – $45.00/hour. Starting pay based on experience.
