About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work in the Health Services Department at Avita Galion/Ontario Hospitals, supporting nursing care in the physician clinic under the supervision of physicians or Allied Health Providers.
Location: Avita Galion/Ontario Hospitals – Health Services Department
Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients within the physician clinic with the supervision of the physician or Allied Health Provider (CNP/PA).
- Participates in patient and family teaching.
- Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission.
- Provides coordination to the clinical staff as to patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.
Qualifications
- Required: Current Licensed Practical Nurse in State of Ohio.
- Required: Current BLS certification.
- Preferred: Two (2) or more years of previous experience in a physician office.
