Office Engineer

About the role

Laland Baptiste is a certified minority and woman-owned construction management and consulting firm. We provide innovative and professional services throughout all phases of the construction life cycle, focusing on construction management, program management, owners representation, resident engineering, inspection, preconstruction consulting, change order review, value engineering, administration assistance, document control, and staff augmentation.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Project Manager with project control activities such as project document management, daily reports, meeting minutes, RFI tracking, contract document review, change order review, and payment review.
• Assist with site walkthroughs and contractor coordination as needed.
• Use project management software including Submittal Exchange, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.
• Manage projects in buildings, pools, and parks with 3+ years of construction management experience.
• Have knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, and scheduling applications.
• Be proficient in Windows/Outlook/Word/Excel.
• Have knowledge of codes (preferable).
• Be OSHA 30 Hour Certified.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other technical degree.
• Proficiency in project management software.
• Experience in construction management (buildings/pool/parks), preferably in the specified areas.
• Knowledge of relevant codes.
• OSHA 30 Hour Certification.

Pay

$45.00-$50.00/Hourly Salary (depending on education and experience)
