About the role
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results-oriented individual to serve as an Office Associate. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and strong leadership and communication capabilities. Responsibilities
- Serves as Case Assignment/Placement Unit Support.
- Maintains unit files consisting of open and closed unit records, inter- and intra-office memoranda, bulletins, letters, policy and procedures updates, etc.
- Answers incoming phone calls and greets visitors.
- Receives, sorts, and date-stamps incoming mail and faxes, then distributes to appropriate staff, requiring access to tickler files (manual or automated) to determine proper distribution.
- Conducts complex timekeeping and payroll functions using automated office equipment and technology.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned that are reasonably within the scope of the enumerated duties.
Pay
Anticipated starting salary: $4,144 monthly. Full range: $4,144–$5,429 monthly.
Schedule
Full-time, salaried position.
