Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and greet visitors in a professional manner.
- Provide customer support by handling inquiries in a timely manner.
- Perform data entry for AR and AP accounts.
- Absorb responsibilities for hauling tickets and data entry.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems.
- Absorb responsibilities for assisting with billing, collections, and basic accounting tasks as assigned.
- Prepare and submit bids.
- Manage Customer Accounts and their PO systems.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
- Pick up mail from Post Office and process incoming mail and packages.
- Support Controller and other admin staff as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of company and customer records.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree in Business or Office Administration preferred.
- 13 years of clerical, administrative, or office experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer systems.
- Proficiency with Quickbooks Desktop.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A customer service-oriented demeanor with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in construction or concrete industry is a plus but not required.
