About the role

Select Medical is seeking an entry-level Office Assistant to support the daily administrative operations within the Credentialing Verification Office (CVO). This role helps ensure efficient processes, compliance with standard operating procedures, and a professional work environment. The Office Assistant promotes excellent customer service in all protocols and procedures to provide an exceptional experience through all interactions supported by the CVO.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day administrative office functions
  • Coordinating standard operating procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, process efficiency, and safety within the CVO
  • Promoting excellent customer service in all protocols and procedures
  • Supporting interoffice communication protocols
  • Auxiliary administrative tasks and inventory control
  • Maintaining a professional work environment
  • New Employee Set up: IT tickets, phone and security access, database setup, primary source verification sites, building management and maintenance needs
  • Managing relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlords
  • Developing and implementing office policies
  • Ensuring effective cost management when ordering center supplies
  • Managing leadership schedules, calendars, and appointments
  • Coordinating office staff activities
  • Implementing procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency
  • Preparing operational reports and schedules
  • Maintaining a safe and secure working environment
  • Managing Departmental Email Inboxes: Payor Enrollment & CVO teams
  • Maintaining CAQH Re-attestations as required

  • Working knowledge of all office administrative job responsibilities, systems, and procedures

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Customer service with a results-oriented approach to meet responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use office equipment, faxes, copiers, etc.
  • Proficient in Windows technologies (ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
