Office Assistant
About the role
Select Medical is seeking an entry-level Office Assistant to support the daily administrative operations within the Credentialing Verification Office (CVO). This role helps ensure efficient processes, compliance with standard operating procedures, and a professional work environment. The Office Assistant promotes excellent customer service in all protocols and procedures to provide an exceptional experience through all interactions supported by the CVO.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day administrative office functions
- Coordinating standard operating procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, process efficiency, and safety within the CVO
- Promoting excellent customer service in all protocols and procedures
- Supporting interoffice communication protocols
- Auxiliary administrative tasks and inventory control
- Maintaining a professional work environment
- New Employee Set up: IT tickets, phone and security access, database setup, primary source verification sites, building management and maintenance needs
- Managing relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlords
- Developing and implementing office policies
- Ensuring effective cost management when ordering center supplies
- Managing leadership schedules, calendars, and appointments
- Coordinating office staff activities
- Implementing procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency
- Preparing operational reports and schedules
- Maintaining a safe and secure working environment
- Managing Departmental Email Inboxes: Payor Enrollment & CVO teams
- Maintaining CAQH Re-attestations as required
