Office Assistant
Job Summary
The Office Assistant supports the office by providing administrative and operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day office functions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Job Responsibilities
- Support daily office operations including reception, hospitality, and facilities upkeep.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment (meeting rooms, kitchen, common areas).
- Process expense reimbursements.
- Aid in tracking budgets and expenditures.
- Serve as a point of contact for building-related matters (maintenance, parking, access, event space).
- Cookier mail handling, office supply ordering, business cards, name plates, and directory updates.
- Schedule meetings, prepare materials, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Provide backup for administrative support and serve as office operations lead when needed.
- Coordinate internal events and special projects, including office renovations.
- Maintain office-specific databases and perform routine data entry.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. safely.
- Flexible working overtime when needed.
Education
A high school diploma or GED is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Experience
Requires a minimum of three (3) years of relevant administrative experience.
Pay
US Pay Range $55,000—$80,000 USD
