Office Assistant
Essential Job Functions
- Provides clerical assistance to include reprographics, filing, maintaining records and ordering supplies and materials.
- Assembles and disseminates information.
- Performs light typing of correspondence or other material from rough draft.
- Screens visitors, telephone calls, and incoming mail.
- Responds to routine inquiries from parents, citizens and others regarding school programs and schedules.
- Assists with data entry, data management and record keeping.
- Aids in the clinic in the absence of the clinic assistant.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Some knowledge of office practices and procedures, of manual or automated filing systems and business English and Mathematics.
- Some skill in typing, operating personal computers, word processing equipment or other automated office systems.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and to work effectively with all levels of personnel, students and public.
