About the role
The Office Assistant 3 position at WSDOT Headquarters in Tumwater, WA, provides a wide range of administrative support to help maintain efficient statewide maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact by responding to phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries while providing courteous, timely, and solution-focused customer service.
- Cook up statewide travel arrangements, conference registrations, lodging, meeting logistics, calendars, and mail distribution for Headquarters Maintenance staff.
- Purchase office supplies, equipment, publications, and training materials while maintaining inventory records, coordinating printing services, and supporting asset inventory activities.
- Review purchasing transactions for accuracy and compliance, monitor purchasing activities, communicate with staff regarding transaction status, and assist with reconciliation and records retention requirements.
- Cook up meetings, conferences, and training logistics; provide administrative support to division programs; assist with basic office technology needs; and perform additional administrative duties to support efficient office operations.
