Purpose

Responsible for performing a variety of administrative and office operations support activities for one or more people or departments. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Coincides workflow and communications between operating units, vendors, and customers to support day-to-day administrative and operational processes.
  • Serves as a resource on all office policy, methods & procedures and perform data entry and retrieval functions.
  • May respond to non-routine information requests.
  • Aids in the preparation of reports and perform various accounting, compliance, inventory, or HR related duties as requested.
  • Arranges meetings, schedules appointments, and makes travel reservations.
  • Aids in HR processes and coordinates HR data transfer to regional HR.
  • Might aid in sales orders, invoicing, customer accounts, and provide similar sales transaction support as requested.
  • Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; might recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 years administrative or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and efficiently manage projects
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment / Physical Activity

  • Work is generally performed in an office setting and generally sedentary, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
  • May be required to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 25 pounds.
