Offal Operator

Responsibilities

• Ensure offal area and components are in safe operating order and compliant with regulations.
• Support Allen Harim’s mission, vision, and values.
• Drive yard trucks to move trailers in and out of offal.
• Maintain operations of offal equipment to meet production plant requirements.
• Clean floor of product spills from conveyors before end of work shift.
• Clean and sanitize inside and outside of offal to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Load offal and feather trailers properly.
• Wash tumblers that separate meat from water.

Qualifications

• Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions consistently with essential job functions.
• Knowledge/Skills: Basic.

Physical Demands

• Must have the ability to enter all areas of the plant and offices.
• Must be able to climb and crawl in confined spaces.
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of employees as well as outside vendors and government agencies.
