Off Highway Haul Truck Driver

About the Role

Martin Marietta is seeking a safety-conscious, dependable, and motivated Off Highway Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Ruby Quarry. This role involves safely and efficiently operating haul trucks loaded with rock within the quarry, performing maintenance duties, and operating other equipment such as pit and yard loaders.

Responsibilities

• Operate a haul truck within company guidelines and safety standards.
• Participate in safety inspections, plant safety programs, and follow company and MSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Aid in loader production by breaking down surge piles and maintaining product piles as needed.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections on equipment and report needed repairs to the supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance, service mobile equipment, and maintain good housekeeping of equipment.
• Operate other equipment such as pit and yard loaders safely as needed.
• Aid in the training of co-workers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the maintenance and operation of mobile equipment and/or equipment used in processing plants.
• Six months of experience as a haul truck driver or other related experience (preferred).

Schedule

Hours are 6:00 am to 5:00 pm, including weekends and overtime as necessary.
