About the role
This role is intended for module equipment technicians reporting to the Planar/CMP/TSV departments. Opportunities are available across all shifts (4/5/6/7) as needed per functional area.
Responsibilities
- Perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipment, process, and training.
- Equipment maintenance and repair, equipment troubleshooting, defect reduction, and other duties as required supporting Fab objectives.
- Work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, written and verbal instructions utilizing a variety of tools, test equipment, problem-solving techniques, and communication.
This position is for a Compressed Work Week Schedule with availability on all shifts (4/5/6/7) in Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (Fab52/42/32/12).
Schedule
Compressed Work Week shifts tend to be 12-hour shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM.
- Shift 4 - Night front half of week - PM-AM Sun-Tues and alternating Saturday nights
- Shift 5 - Days front half of week - AM-PM Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesday days
- Shift 6 - Night back half of week - PM-AM Wed-Sat and alternating Saturday night
- Shift 7 - Days back half of week - AM-PM Thurs-Sat and alternating Wednesday days
Requirements
The candidate must possess at least one of the following educational or experience requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years of related hands-on experience OR military technical experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent AND 1+ years in a related equipment maintenance role.
- High School Diploma or equivalent AND 1+ year Technical/trade certification OR 2+ years technical experience.
- Associate degree in a STEM-related field.
This position requires:
- Lifting 25-pound parts 1-2 times per shift (on average).
- Climbing and performing work on ladders 1-3 times per shift (on average).
Qualifications
- Experience performing hands-on preventative, corrective maintenance on 300mm semiconductor equipment (or equivalent experience).

- Planarization and polishing process knowledge.
- Military experience.
- Advanced Node Semiconductor manufacturing experience in a production environment.
- Experience in planar/CMP (PLI, Applied Material, Reflexion LK prime) functional area.
- Demonstrated skills to influence the content and creation of new specs, procedures, and business processes related to equipment maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
- Knowledge of process control systems.
- Experience with schematics and complex drawings/diagrams.
- Integrated circuit fabrication experience.
- Experience in TSV functional area (BSP, TBT, PBD).
Pay
Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $60,450.00 - $85,340.00 USD (Hourly Role). The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
