Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Prepares appropriate documentation for product returns to vendors.
- Transfers products between departments.
- Receives purchases orders.
- Receives products into Materials Management Information System.
- Stocks storeroom and readies stock for distribution.
- Verifies and documents all deliveries of supplies, equipment and various goods to the hospital.
- Maintains log of departments receiving goods.

- One to three (1-3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Works in a temperature controlled environment.
- Candidate must be able to read and speak English fluently, have cognitive skills for math, reading, filing and sterile technique skills.
- Must have vision for near, mid-range, and far accommodation and communication skills to deal well with employees, patients, families and physicians.
- Must have hearing for low, medium and high pitch.
- Job requires physical ability for long-term standing, occasional sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching with reaches above head and below waist.
- Job risks include contact with laser and chemicals, lifting of 50-100 pounds, potential for exposure to blood and body fluids (minimal), and exposure to infectious disease.
