About the role
Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for cyber mission systems, with a focus on virtualization and containerization technologies, in support of OCO.
Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership and work with key stakeholders to understand requirements, build partnerships, and provide technology solutions for virtualized and containerized environments.
- Lead Product backlog refinement, ensuring features and capabilities for virtualization and containerization platforms are well defined, prioritized, and decomposed into actionable user stories.
- Collaborate with other Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, and Scrum Masters to drive Program Increment (PI) execution, risk mitigation, and cross-team collaboration for virtualization and containerization projects.
- Engage with Joint Cyber Weapons stakeholders, USCYBERCOM, NSA, Services and CCMDs to gather feedback and align capability delivery for virtualized and containerized solutions.
- Participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMs), operational working groups, and other OCO forums related to virtualization and containerization.
- Partner with clients to understand business objectives, user behaviors, and product vision, develop product concepts, roadmaps, test plans, and functional specifications for virtualized and containerized applications.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to conceptualize, design, and deliver multi-platform applications for virtualized and containerized environments.
- Lead engagements alongside company partners as well as the top designers and technologists in the industry.
Qualifications
- Active TS SCI w/Polygraph - must be current.
- Min 12 years with Bachelors, 10 years with Masters, or 16 years with HS Diploma or Associates Degree; significant portion of experience in virtualization and containerization technologies.
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager or similar Agile certification(s) is desirable.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience working with government agencies or contractors in the intelligence or defense sectors is highly desirable.
Skills
- Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies such as vSphere and vCenter, orchestration of virtual machine deployment and management.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes, and concepts of shared service meshes with services such as Keycloak, MinIO, and Vault.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, along with experience with Agile methodologies and cloud services.
- Proven experience in building enterprise-grade products from concept to launch.
- Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies, including various infrastructure platforms.
- Proficiency with agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in the development of products and/or management in a development environment.
- Build and implement product strategies aligned with the OCO PMO's vision, develop roadmaps, and prioritize features for virtualization and containerization platforms.
- Facilitate interactions between all stakeholders and actively interacting. Good with documentation.
- Hands-on personality, take ownership, actively engage with the team, constant engagement with key stakeholders. Understand team needs, get them what their needs are.
- Senior Product Managers guide and mentor less experienced product managers, collaborating to deliver products on time and within budget.
- Work with various stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and other teams, to gather feedback and shape product requirements.
- Comprehensive training on installing, configuring, and managing VMware vSphere.
- In-depth training on administering Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
- Training on the NATS.io messaging system for building scalable and resilient distributed systems.
- Training that demonstrates expertise in designing, implementing, and managing a best-in-class cybersecurity program.

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $107,496 - $269,129 (annualized USD).
