About the role
We're seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Business Manager to lead our Chicago ocean freight team and drive strategic growth within our global logistics organization.
Responsibilities
- Direct ownership of financial performance
- Lead the end-to-end management of ocean import and export operations
- Work closely with customers, carriers, sales teams, and operations leaders to drive profitability, operational excellence, and exceptional service
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a P&L, revenue, margins, and business growth initiatives
- Success leading and developing high-performing Import and Export teams
- Strong expertise in ocean freight forwarding, carrier management, pricing, procurement, and customer partnerships
