Occupational Therapy Team Leader - Healthcare Rehabilitation Facility

Role Overview

Lead and support the occupational therapy team in a rehabilitation setting, ensuring seamless implementation of procedures and personalized patient care. Collaborate closely with the Director of Therapy Operations to manage daily team functions, including scheduling, training, and communication with hospital departments. Provide direct patient care, fostering relationships to understand and address their physical, mental, and emotional needs, and celebrate patient progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in operational management of therapy services
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
• Guide and mentor therapy staff
• Build positive patient relationships and support their recovery goals

Qualifications & Skills

• Current licensure or certification per state requirements
• CPR certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an accredited therapy program
• Minimum of three years in occupational therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical experience
• Professional certifications or Therapy Clinical Ladder eligibility preferred
