About the Role
Lead and oversee the occupational therapy team, ensuring effective implementation of treatments and procedures. Provide direct patient care, fostering personalized recovery plans and celebrating patient progress. Support daily operations, including scheduling, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments. Promote a collaborative and compassionate environment to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily therapy operations and team coordination.
- Build strong relationships with patients, understanding their physical and emotional needs to support recovery.
- Lead, mentor, and support therapy staff to ensure quality care.
Requirements
- Current licensure or certification as per state regulations.
- CPR certification (must be obtained within 30 days if not already certified).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program.
- At least three years of occupational therapy or leadership experience, with two years of clinical practice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or holding specialty certifications.
