Role Overview
Lead and support an occupational therapy team in a rehabilitation setting, ensuring seamless implementation of procedures and personalized patient care. Collaborate with the Director of Therapy Operations to manage daily team activities, including scheduling, training, and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assessing and addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs to facilitate recovery.
- Guide and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and compassionate environment.
- Celebrate patient progress and outcomes, promoting motivation and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current state licensure or certification in occupational therapy.
- CPR certification (must be obtained within 30 days if not already certified).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program.
- Minimum of three years of occupational therapy experience, including at least two years in a leadership or clinical role.
- Preferred: active Therapy Clinical Ladder status or specialty certifications.
