As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you’ll empower patients to achieve meaningful outcomes through compassionate and patient-centered therapy. You’ll provide occupational therapy services to the adult/geriatric population, working closely with patients to improve independence, mobility, safety, and overall quality of life. Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional independence, safety, and overall quality of life
  • Implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on ADLs, strength, mobility, and adaptive techniques
  • Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support strong patient outcomes and continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs

Requirements

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or license eligible in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy
  • Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults
