Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) In House SNF (PRN)

About the Role

Evolve Therapy Services is hiring compassionate therapists for our partner located in Meyersdale, PA. This PRN position involves planning, organizing, developing, and directing Occupational Therapy Services in an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility, ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient based on scope of practice.
• Perform treatment plans for residents, following short- and long-term goals and methods as established in the plan of care by the supervising therapist.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members.
• Conduct therapy according to the established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services.
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients.
• Comply with all CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point-of-care documentation as indicated.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OTA licensure in the state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
