Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) In House (FT PT or PRN)

About the Role

Evolve Therapy Services is seeking compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants for our partner's in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in North Platte, NE. This role involves planning, organizing, developing, and directing Occupational Therapy Services to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screenings of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient based on scope of practice.
• Perform treatment plans for residents, following short- and long-term goals and methods as established in the plan of care by the supervising therapist.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members.
• Conduct therapy according to the established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services.
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients.
• Comply with all CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point-of-care documentation as indicated.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OTA licensure in the state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
