Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
Position Summary
The primary function of your job is to return patients to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals within a skilled nursing facility setting. Instruct patients in maintaining achieved levels of function after discharge through education, independent exercise programs, and appropriate activity modifications, under the supervision of occupational therapists and directors of rehabilitation.
Education/Qualifications
- Holds an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college
- Current and valid license granted from the state of employment
- Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment
- Possesses basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software
