Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our team and help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life. In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement evidence-based interventions that make a meaningful, day-to-day impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities (IADLs)

  • Monitor resident progress and adjust interventions to maximize outcomes and independence

  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

  • Recommend and train residents in the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to enhance safety and function

  • Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers to promote continued progress outside of therapy sessions

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards

  • Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to individualized resident care strategies

  • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and facility policies and professional standards

Qualifications

  • Current, active Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) license in the State of Wyoming, in good standing

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred

  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems (Net Health experience preferred)

  • Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and care teams

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and achieving positive outcomes
