Occupational Therapy Assistant- COTA (Per Diem)

About the role

The position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Horseheads, NY. This is a per diem opportunity at Bethany Nursing Home, part of Bethany Village, a 122-bed not-for-profit facility offering various levels of care including SNF, ALF, ILF, and independent living.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Document services accurately and timely using electronic documentation systems
• Be flexible with hours and able to work on multiple rosters
• Have a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state
• Have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications
• Have good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
• Have SNF experience

Requirements

• Possess a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state
• Be licensed eligible within 6 months of hire
• Have strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and experience with electronic documentation
• Have good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
• Be flexible with hours
• Have SNF experience

Pay

Good Faith Rate Range: $35/hr - $40/hr
