Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) - PRN | Wausau Rehab

About the role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team and care for a diverse patient population at PAM Health, a network of over 80 hospital locations serving chronically and critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong desire and commitment to learn, and will work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care
• Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health system
• Remain flexible to meet the needs of the system across many different facilities
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

• Licensed as an OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
• Current BLS certification
• One year of clinical experience preferred
• Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn
