About the role

We are looking for a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) with a flexible schedule to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. At PAM Health, we care for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care across over 80 hospital locations nationwide.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant, under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, is responsible for direct patient care, planning, and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles within the PAM Health system. The role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the system across many different facilities.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Plan and implement specific treatment programs tailored to individual patients.
• Adapt to the needs of the PAM Health system, working across multiple facilities as required.

Requirements

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience preferred, though candidates with a desire and commitment to learn will be considered.
• Prior inpatient hospital experience is ideal.
