Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA / OTA

About the role

A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is needed to perform direct care under the clinical supervision of an Occupational Therapist to maximize functional potential in all areas of a resident's life.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' occupational performance and needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic activities to promote independence and quality of life
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Document progress and communicate with family members and other healthcare providers

Requirements

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state of employment
• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for improving the quality of life for seniors
