Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA - Flexible Part-Time

About the role

We are seeking a Part-time COTA to join our team at our location in Detroit, MI. You can make your own schedule, working 15-20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions to promote functional independence and quality of life for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Assess patient needs and progress towards goals.
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately.

Requirements

• Active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current CPR certification.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
