About the role

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to help patients regain independence and improve their physical abilities. You will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments in a variety of settings. The role emphasizes patient‑centered care, collaboration with peers, and making referrals when needed to ensure the highest quality of service.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities tailored to each patient
• Follow and execute developed recovery plans
• Deliver therapy treatments that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide compassionate, high‑quality service to patients and their families

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (AOTA & ACOTE standards)
• Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice

Pay

Hourly rate: $26.00 – $30.00 USD

Sign‑on bonus: $5,000 USD
