About the role
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Powerback Rehabilitation, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You will work in facility settings, reporting to the Director of Rehab, and focus on restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing patients' physical abilities and independence. Your role involves addressing the whole patient, collaborating with peers, and making referrals to ensure comprehensive care. Powerback delivers an empowered approach to rehabilitation, emphasizing patient-centered care to help individuals achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy programs and activities tailored to patient needs.
- Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
- Address the holistic needs of patients, treating them as individuals.
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
- Ensure patients and their families receive high-quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
- Adapt to the varying needs of patients and work in diverse settings.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
- Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Pay
Posted Salary Range: USD $26.00 - USD $37.00 per hour.
