Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will:
- Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
- Follow developed recovery plans.
- Deliver therapy treatments.
- Restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.
- Adapt to the needs of the patient.
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals.
- Ensure patients and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
- Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
