About the role
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Powerback Rehabilitation, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You will work in facility settings, reporting to the Director of Rehab, and focus on restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing patients' physical abilities and independence. Your role involves addressing the whole patient, collaborating with peers, and making referrals to ensure patients receive the care they need to thrive. Powerback delivers an empowered approach to rehabilitation, connecting directly to the patient experience and transforming recovery through patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy programs and activities tailored to patient needs.
- Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
- Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence.
- Address the holistic needs of patients, treating them as individuals.
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide high-quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere for patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
- Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Pay
Posted Salary Range: USD $37.00 - USD $42.00 per hour.
