Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Cypress Ridge Care Center is a dedicated provider of compassionate, high-quality care. The rehabilitation team here aims to help residents regain independence, improve their functional skills, and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Provide therapeutic activities to improve Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), functional mobility, strength, and coordination
• Document resident progress in accordance with center policies and regulatory requirements
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home programs
• Assist with training in the use of adaptive equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals
• Maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging therapy environment

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of California
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative care team
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred, but not required

Compensation & Benefits
