About the role
The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) supports occupational therapists by implementing therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting, adhering to professional and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with treatment plans
- Guide patients through exercises and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Document patient progress
- Educate patients and families on strategies for continued improvement
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited OTA program
- Current state licensure or certification
- CPR certification (preferred)
