Job Summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and surrounding areas. This position offers competitive pay with travel time and mileage compensation, holiday pay, and a supportive work environment.

About the Role

As a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will perform under the direction of the treating occupational therapist, document patient progress, teach therapeutic activities, and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform under the direction and supervision of the treating occupational therapist and in accordance with the plan of care.
  • Absorb and document patient progress and response to treatment.
  • Teach task-oriented therapeutic activities designed to restore physical and sensory-integrative function.
  • Communicate with the supervising occupational therapist and other healthcare team members to promote coordination of care.
  • Visually and aurally observe and assess the patient.
  • Participate in quality and performance improvement measures.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in the state of Colorado.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of certified occupational therapy assistant experience, preferably in home healthcare.
  • CPR/BLS Certification (demonstration course required).
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and compassion.
