About the role
Dove Healthcare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic interventions to promote functional independence and improve quality of life
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Assess patient needs and progress towards goals
- Document patient care activities and progress in medical records
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Current license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Wisconsin
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
