Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA

Role: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Location: In-person in Victorville, CA Responsibilities Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.Provide individual and small group occupational therapy services to students.Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills for success in school.Assist with classroom adaptations, positioning, and adaptive equipment as directed.Document progress and maintain accurate treatment records in compliance with regulations.Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve IEP goals.Observe student performance and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.Participate in IEP and staff meetings, and maintain professional standards and policies.Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications & Skills Current CA COTA license.Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.Knowledge of pediatric development, sensory integration, and adaptive equipment.Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.Ability to build effective relationships with students, families, and school staff.
