About the role

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides direct occupational therapy care in a skilled nursing environment under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans
• Document patient progress
• Utilize therapy software
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patients with diverse needs such as orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Ensure patient safety
• Maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification
• Proper licensure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Prior experience in post-acute care
