Job Summary and Qualifications
Role Summary: Uses procedures and techniques to change condition/function consistent with the rehabilitation diagnosis and prognosis. Provides patient and customer service by supervising and coordinating therapeutic care and by communicating with patients, families and appropriate staff. Supports and improves the department by teaching and mentoring other staff and by managing the resources for patient care. May provide services off-site, within the scope of the job description, as needed, by the department.
What qualifications you will need
- Required Education: Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
- PREFERRED Education: None beyond above required
- Required License: Current North Carolina license to practice Occupational Therapy
- PREFERRED License: None
- Required Experience: None required – new graduate eligible
- PREFERRED Experience: Clinical affiliations covering a wide variety of rehabilitation settings
