Occupational Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with rehabilitative services for patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Provide attentive one-on-one therapy services for residents, administering functional treatments that emphasize a holistic, patient-centered approach to care.
• Advocate for resident needs and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilize innovative technologies and therapeutic treatments to enhance care delivery.
• Pursue clinical interests and develop subject matter expertise.

Requirements

• Mondays through Fridays schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates of applied science degree in area of discipline.
• Current occupational therapy assistant license in state of practice, or ability to obtain one prior to starting.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
• Computer proficiency.

Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and senior care practices.
• Proficiency in using rehabilitation technology and software.

USD $31.00 - USD $37.00 /Hr.
