Occupational Therapy Assistant

Duties And Responsibilities

• Aid in developing treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Implement therapy sessions as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain monitoring of patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Document patient progress and communicate with the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Teach patients exercises and techniques to improve mobility and function.
• Assist with the use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Education and Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania state license.
• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
