Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to promote functional independence and participation in daily activities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Assess patient needs and progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
  • Document patient care accurately and maintain thorough records.

Requirements

  • Current state licensure or certification (in states where required).
  • CPR certification preferred (unless required by hospital policy).
  • Successful completion of an associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program is preferred.
  • Demonstrate competency in occupational therapy treatment.
