Occupational Therapy Assistant

About the role

The Occupational Therapy Assistant will work collaboratively with the Occupational Therapist and other interdisciplinary team members to plan, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy services for patients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assessment of patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to promote independence and improve quality of life.
• Evaluate progress towards treatment goals and adjust plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Associates of Applied Science (AAS) degree in occupational therapy assistant studies or a related field.
• Active registered OTA license in the state where you practice.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• One-year Occupational Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Drivers License.
• Comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

$28.67 - $42.64 /hour

M - F 8:00am - 5:00pm
