Occupational Therapy Assistant - Acute Care - Full Time

About the Role

Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in providing objective assessments and individualized treatment programs for patients of all ages in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Support initial patient assessments and document care progress and treatment needs.
• Administer modalities, exercises, and treatment procedures per departmental policies.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and departmental records.
• Participate in departmental educational initiatives.
• Apply knowledge of age-specific needs, including neonatal to geriatric populations.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Current licensure or eligibility as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Preferred one year of experience; new graduates considered.
• Current BLS certification.
