Occupational Therapist - Weekend Schedule

Role Overview Provides skilled occupational therapy services in an acute care setting, evaluating and treating patients to promote their daily function and independence. Collaborates with healthcare teams, develops personalized treatment plans considering discharge needs, and educates patients and families. Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students based on their competencies, and completes documentation per policies. Offers assessments, reassessments, and consultations to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Licensed or registered Occupational Therapist (OT)Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's preferredNo prior experience necessaryStrong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Key Duties Establish and implement treatment plans with focus on discharge planningEducate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providersDelegate tasks appropriately and ensure competencyPerform assessments, consultations, and documentation
