Occupational Therapist - Weekend Schedule

About the Role

Provides skilled occupational therapy services in an acute care setting, evaluating and treating patients to promote their daily function and independence. Collaborates with healthcare teams, develops personalized treatment plans considering discharge needs, and educates patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement treatment plans with focus on discharge planning
• Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Delegate tasks appropriately to assistants, techs, and students based on their competencies
• Perform assessments, reassessments, consultations, and complete documentation per policies

Requirements

• Licensed or registered Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's preferred
• No prior experience necessary
