Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to support patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The position focuses on helping patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills through personalized therapy plans while ensuring compliance with long‑term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to restore or enhance patients’ daily living skills.
• Provide therapy services during day shifts, contributing directly to patient recovery and overall care goals.
• Document and chart all therapy activities in accordance with long‑term care regulations.
• Utilize electronic medical record systems, with a preference for candidates experienced in EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Virginia occupational therapy license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
