About the role

Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for providing service to home care patients with deficits in self‑care activities of daily living and interpersonal activities, developing programs to help patients accomplish age‑ and role‑specific tasks.

Facility: Administrative Regional Training Cntr; Shift: Shift 1; Status: Full Time; FTE: 1.000000; Bargaining Unit: ACE Associates; Exempt from Overtime: Exempt: Yes; Work Schedule: Days; Hours: 8a‑4p.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of a B.S. or M.S. degree program in OT required; State of New York license and registration required.
• Experience: One (1) year experience as an OT required, or minimum eight (8) months' experience with extended orientation (minimum sixteen weeks).
• Knowledge, Skill and Ability: Valid driver's license and car available for work use; ability to adapt occupational therapy techniques to home setting.
• Working Conditions: Delivers occupational therapy care in home setting working with patient, family, and caregivers; may deliver care independently of other caregivers.
